Sitters.co.uk (“Sitters”, “we”, us” or “our”) is a childcare provision introduction agency, trading as a division of 288 Group Ltd of 288 House, 1 Aston Way, Poole, BH12 4FE.

The data controller of your information is 288 Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 2000413 and registered office at Russell House, Oxford Road, Bournemouth, BH8 8EX.

We are committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of all individuals (“Users”) who use Sitters’ website (https://www.sitters.co.uk)  and mobile application (“App”) platform.

The Sitters App facilitates the scheduling of babysitting appointments. For the purpose of this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) we refer to users as “Parents” and “Childcarers”.  A Parent is defined as an individual utilising our platform to place bookings and seek childcare solutions. The term Childcarer refers to those who accept bookings to provide childcare for a Parent.

This Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use our platform. It encompasses all functionality and features (“Services”) provided through our App and website, including account registration, booking and payment processing and customer support interactions, and applies to all Users of our babysitting App, including Parents, Childcarers, and visitors to our website.

Identity Data

First name, last name, previous names, title, date of birth and nationality.

Contact Data

Home address, email address and telephone number.

Financial Data

Bank account details (account number and sort code) and National Insurance number.

Technical Device Data

Device type, network information, IP address, login and password, browser type, time zone setting, location details, operating system and platform.

Profile Data

Profile photo, ratings & reviews from Parents, number of children in your own family and account/booking notes.

 

Qualifications and Certifications: Including education level, references, DBS status, PVG status, childcare experience, work availability, interview notes & assessment information.

 

Background and Safety Checks: Including Right to Work status, proof of ID, proof of address, medical information and criminal convictions.

Data on how you use Sitters’ App and Services, such as features you use, actions you take, frequency/duration of use, booking data and transactional data, including payments to you.

First name, last name, title, date of birth, partner title, partner first name and partner last name.

Contact Data

Home address, booking address, email address, telephone number, partner email address and partner telephone number.

Financial Data

Payment card details.

Technical Device Data

Device type, network information, IP address, login and password, browser type, time zone setting, location details, operating system and platform.

Profile Data

Profile photo, household pets, sitter preferences and feedback (including childcarer ratings, childcarer reviews and service reviews).

 

Family details: Including number of children requiring childcare, children’s first name, children’s date of birth, children’s age, children’s medical information and account/booking notes.

Usage

Data on how you use Sitters’ App and Services, such as features you use, actions you take, frequency/duration of use, booking data and transactional data, including payments made by you.

  • With Parents: To provide Childcarers with job offers and booking information, we may share the Childcarer’s name, contact details, profile photo, childcare experience and reviews with Parents seeking childcare.
  • With Service Providers: We engage with trusted third-party service providers to enable us to perform functions, such as processing payments, hosting our App, and providing customer support. These service providers may access your payment details, contact information, and usage data as necessary to perform their functions.
  • With Business Partners: For marketing or promotional activities, we may share your demographic information, usage data, and contact information with our business partners, but only if you have consented to such sharing.
