Sitters.co.uk (“Sitters”, “we”, us” or “our”) is a childcare provision introduction agency, trading as a division of 288 Group Ltd of 288 House, 1 Aston Way, Poole, BH12 4FE.

The Sitters App facilitates the scheduling of babysitting appointments. For the purpose of this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) we refer to users as “Parents” and “Childcarers”. A Parent is defined as an individual utilising our platform to place bookings and seek childcare solutions. The term Childcarer refers to those who accept bookings to provide childcare for a Parent.

It encompasses all functionality and features (“Services”) provided through our App and website, including account registration, booking and payment processing and customer support interactions, and applies to all Users of our babysitting App, including Parents, Childcarers, and visitors to our website.

- Payment Processing: Securely process payments for Services and manage billing and invoicing.

- With Childcarers: To match families with qualified Childcarers, we may share the Parent’s name, contact details, family details, location, household pets, profile photo and specific childcare requirements with selected, approved Childcarers.
- With Parents: To provide Childcarers with job offers and booking information, we may share the Childcarer’s name, contact details, profile photo, childcare experience and reviews with Parents seeking childcare.
- With Service Providers: We engage with trusted third-party service providers to enable us to perform functions, such as processing payments, hosting our App, and providing customer support. These service providers may access your payment details, contact information, and usage data as necessary to perform their functions.
- With Business Partners: For marketing or promotional activities, we may share your demographic information, usage data, and contact information with our business partners, but only if you have consented to such sharing.
- For Legal Compliance: We may disclose your personal information to comply with legal obligations and lawful requests from public authorities, such as HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), or protect our rights, property, and safety, or that of our Users and the public.
